Jessica DeLong, M.D.

DeLongDr. Jessica DeLong earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 2007 and was appointed to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish at the University of Virginia in 2003. Both her surgery internship and urology residency were completed at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. After graduating from her residency in 2013, she went on to complete her fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Reconstructive Urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2014.

Dr. DeLong specializes in pelvic floor and genitourinary reconstruction, including male urethral stricture, Peyronie’s disease, erectile dysfunction, male and female incontinence, female prolapse, and complicated urinary disorders. She is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS), Société Internationale d’ Urologie (SIU), and Society of Women in Urology (SWIU).

Dr. DeLong has published in several journals and texts regarding her work. She has presented her research extensively both at the national and international level. She is committed to work in resource poor settings and has traveled with IVUmed both while in training and as a visiting professor. She has worked extensively as an international medical educator (IME) with Physicians for Peace.

Dr. DeLong is fluent in English and Spanish.
