Jack Lambert, M.D.

LambertDr. Lambert earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee in 2008. Prior to this he received a bachelor of arts degree from Tufts University in Boston in 2003. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School from 2008-2013. He stayed for further training at EVMS and will complete the Society of Endourology fellowship in robotics, laparoscopy, and endourology in June of 2014. He joins Urology of Virginia specializing in robotic surgery, oncology, and endourology.

Dr. Lambert says, “I enjoy the complexity and meticulous detail of robotic and laparoscopic surgery. The advances in surgical technology have allowed urologists to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures with a faster recovery and great results.”

He has presented research at numerous national urology meetings, has authored a book chapter in Glenn’s Urology, and has several publications in peer reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Lambert is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Urologic Association.

When not working, Dr. Lambert enjoys spending time with his wife, playing music, going to the beach, and traveling.
